I watched the Prouder and Louder episode and they really shouldn't have even tried it with that storyline. The group being mad at Zoey was uncalled for, it's not like she can change that. Zoey wasn't even there for the initial "he only dates white girls" conversation, and as soon as she heard about it, she immediately asked Noah about it and dropped him. They should have had Zoey in on the conversation to hear Maya's original comment about Noah.

They were all truly horrible to her. They really uninvited her to a party she's been coming to for years, because of a boy.

It's not like she's just some random white girl, she's their friend, them thinking she's so undesirable and that's the only way a celebrity.. a boy would like her was just horrible.

It's giving "we only hang around you because you make me feel better about myself."

They should have bought the conversation to Noah, like do you realize how much self hate that kid has, like what do you mean you only date white girls. That would have been a good opportunity for his parents or one of Penny's parents to give him a talking too.

Would he still have bought a white girl to the dance? Yeah probably but now he would have been more aware of his actions..

Edit: I thought it was weird they just believed Maya about Noah's preference, so many people lie about their family members living near celebrities and I know she's supposed to be the new cool and chill character. But them just believing her from the go and ganging up on Zoey someone they've know for years, wasn’t it.

I love how you criticize everything but that episode where one of the triple told penny she won’t be her modern minority on her debate team when one the topic was social media two you don’t be calling random black people you don’t know racist but yes talk about how poor little zoey got her feelings hurt 😢 yes that episode should be done better but there too many colorist blk man in this world and you don’t need hear everything from the person themselves for it to be true

I have only seen one episode from the new season of the The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder, I’m not actively watching the show as of right now. To criticize any other episode then the colorism one. “You don’t call random black people you don’t know racist” Who did I call racist? What is this about? 😅 is it the me not believing Maya about her cousin? People lie about celebrities all the time, and yeah Maya’s cousin was right in this instance, but I was saying they’ve known for Zoey for years and they should have been like “yeah he could like her for her.” Not immediately “he only likes her cause she’s white”

Tbh, it should have been a two part episode, so much in so little time.

When I said they should have confronted Noah, I didn’t mean it in a confirmation way. I meant it in a ‘talk to him tell him why his way of thinking is bad’ The characters are in middle school, it’s not to late for the Noah to change his way of thinking. They should have been mad at Noah not Zoey.

Edit: in older episodes in the original show. They would have spoken to Noah. Then they would have spoken about the history of colorism or something.
