The lights were low in the sitting area of the so called auction house, meant to preserve the identities of those visiting and purchasing. Noah was bored at this point, flicking through his phone as the lots came and went, here for show more than anything. Until another lot was dragged on stage, and he began to pay attention. The girl was hauled up on stage, and the auctioneer turned to the crowd to give a brief description. There had been other girls throughout the night of course, but the was the first to hold Noahs attention. And so, always one of impulse buys, he bid, entering a slowly rising bidding war until he was declared the victor. Once the girl was taken off stage, he stood, uninterested in remaining until the end. Instead, he strode backstage, towards where he could pick up his new purchase.
