If you asked Jasper, he was sure that he wouldn’t ever be surprised again when Edward decided that he would have a human for a mate after they moved to Forks. Well, not ever, maybe just in the next decade or two. If anything, Jasper was grateful that Alice had taken a backseat on the whole thing and was happy to let Angela flounder in her choice, with her own human family on one side and an eternity with Edward on the other. Then Bella Swan happened.

It's Carlisle/Bella as always with my works. It's already 10k and I'm working on Chapter 2 from Angela's POV rn and that's almost 5k as it stands. With plenty left to go.

I forget how unhinged I sound when talking about fanfic until I get an ask recommending me fic or fandom and I have to like- delete it like 4 times before settling for the bare minimum. I’m so chronically picky. It’s my best and worst trait. It makes me write what you all think is ‘refreshing’ stuff, but it also means I can’t enjoy anything ever cause my standards are too high and my fandom takes are  disgustingly unpopular. This is why I never write actual meta

Tired Dad Sam is fun to write. As funny as this whole thing is I can't see him and Bella becoming close enough to have tea and talk shit. TBH Sam's bias about vampires still exists. He's just more reasonable about the Cullens in particular than in canon. Doesn't mean he likes them. Just that he'll work with them. So if Bella talked about the Cullens to him she couldn't guarantee a good faith discussion and it would turn into a moral debate or just an argument about vampires as a WHOLE. This is on top of the fact that Bella is Leah's friend. She may respect Sam's place in the pack, but she doesn't agree with the way he fucked Leah over.

If Bella is gonna talk shit about her kids with anyone it's gonna be Angela. Maybe even Leah Eventually.
