12. What's a headcanon you have for this character?
this is something i thought was essentially canon, if not hard canon then at least explicitly implied, but turns out that a lot of fandom doesn't agree lmao. but, i think that frank is addicted to opioids, not benzos. and i've thought this since the addiction plot line reveal. this might seem nit picky to some, but this is a storyline that matters a lot to me.
my belief is that frank sustained a back injury, was prescribed opioids for it and became dependent upon them not only because of the physical pain but because of the emotional and psychological stress of being a resident in the ED, and also a father of two young children. the last half of that is more into headcanon territory, since he's definitely not admitting a psychological dependence, but i think it's there. especially if his dependence was severe enough that he had to divert ativan and librium to get himself through withdrawal.
15. What's your favorite ship for this character? (Doesn't matter if it's canon or not.)

21. If you're a fic writer and have written for this character, what's your favorite thing to do when you're writing for this character? What's something you don't like?
i have written so much from frank POV even though i haven't posted any of it (yet). i love writing frank's fast, bouncing, sometimes non-linear thoughts due to his raging ADHD. his quips and snappy dialogue stemming from that, as well. due to the previous question's answer (lol), i write him frequently with robby, and another of my favorite things is to see robby from frank's perspective.
as for something i dislike... nothing, really? i genuinely love writing frank's POV, he comes much more naturally to me than someone like robby or jack. why? well, we don't have time to unpack all that.
22. If you're a fic reader, what's something you like in fics when it comes to ths character? Something you don't like?
i like when writers maintain his sharp edges, which is somewhat rare... conversely, i don't like when people turn him into a Golden Retriever Boyfriend lmao. you can make him soft without changing his entire personality (he has plenty of soft moments in canon while still being a gigantic bitch much of the time), and i do realize that can be a bit challenging to write! but i think he's worth it. <3
