First date in the dark
Isa: So, how long have you been dating Noah?
Liv: That’s disgusting. And wrong. I don’t even get- Why would- I- I’ve never dated anyone, anywhere. It’s none of your- You have- the nerve, the audacity- They are terrible, face-wise. And how- how- do I know, frankly, that you’re not dating him? Maybe you are. Maybe you’re trying to throw me off? Hmm? Check and mate.
I just need the next clips pls + the rest of the episode + a life
Hey Engel, my throat hasn’t been getting any better..it really might be best for me to not sing at the benefit.
Liv sighed and threw her phone onto the bed, only to quickly grab it a second later. She knew Noah had read her text and she should have let it go since then, but for the past few days she couldn’t stop thinking about him.
Even Ralph started to notice.
Ding ding.
Her heart leapt at the sound from her phone but quickly deflated as she opened the message.
You have to sing. You’re the only act tomorrow and people are expecting you to. Drink some tea, that always helps me. Want me to send you a recipe?
Liv knew that there was no point in arguing. Even though her heart wasn’t into it, she knew that Engel would drag her up to the stage if she had to. After glancing at her phone one last time, she turned off the lights, forced herself to bury her thoughts, and tried to goto sleep.
“It’s time!” Engel squealed. “I don’t know why I’m so nervous. I mean, are there enough snacks? What if the studio is too small? Janna, did you lay out the pickles I brought? And Isa—”
“Chill out, girl,” Janna said, resting her hands on Engel’s shoulders. “Everything’s fine and we’re going to raise a shit ton of money.”
“Hell yeah we are,” Isa grinned.
Their words seemed to help Engel relax somewhat but did nothing for Liv. She decided to sing the song she sang at the open mic night last year. It was one of the first songs she ever wrote and she didn’t have to worry about forgetting the lyrics.
“You ready?” Isa asked, noticing Liv’s silence. “Nervous?”
Liv shook her head. “I’m fine..just um,” she glanced as people began filling up the studio. “Worried about messing up the lyrics.”
Isa sent an encouraging smile. “You’ll kill it up there. Everyone loved you during the open mic night. You were fucking cool as hell.”
“Thanks Isa,” Liv laughed.
“Okay, Liv! You’re up in fifteen minutes!” Engel shouted before making her way to the guests.
Liv focused on her breathing and pulled out her phone.
No message.
No Noah.
She put in her earphones and shut her eyes, letting the music fill her ears.
It took her a few moments for her eyes to adjust to the spotlight hitting her face. After a while, she began to make out the faces in the crowd and her friends shouting and clapping right up front.
“Hey everyone,” Liv waved. “My name’s Liv and um, this is a song I wrote.”
She adjusted the mic’s height and the music began filling the room. She closed her eyes and let out a steady breath.
I will never be yours, and you will never be mine. Our hearts lie with others but we’re in each other’s minds.
Her body swayed with the beat of the song, and for a moment, she forgot about everything else that had happened for the past week.
Her dad.
Her rejection.
Noah.
I will never be yours and you will never be mine. Our bodies intertwine but the guilt is eating us alive.
Noah.
Her voice caught in her throat as she noticed the boy in the orange coat standing in the back of the room, almost concealed by the darkness. Her eyes glued on his as she somehow managed to sing the rest of the song.
I can't get you out of my head. Even though I told myself I wouldn't catch any feelings. When I think of you flowers bloom and I feel like I can do anything. You make my heart beat fast got me wishing that this'll last but I...
I don't wanna leave you but maybe it's the best thing to do. I don't wanna leave you but I guess it's the best thing to do.
The crowd erupted in cheers but the sounds were muffled and the only thing Liv could focus on was Noah.
Noah standing at the edge of the crowd, a small smile etched onto his face before his hand reached the door.
Noah as he slipped out of the studio as quickly as he came in.
Her feet seemed to move on their own and before she knew it, she was outside, her skin filling with goosebumps as the blast of cold air hit her.
“Hey!”
The boy in the orange coat stopped and turned around.
Liv quickened her pace to catch up to him and when she finally did, her mind blanked.
She didn’t know what to say.
Why she was even here or why she ran after him.
Just that she did.
“Liv,” Noah said, breaking the silence. “I didn’t know you could sing.”
“There’s a lot of things you don’t know about me,” Liv replied, studying his features.
His pale complexion.
The dark circles.
Mussed up hair.
And his blue, blue eyes.
“I didn’t think you would come,” Liv said.
Noah let out a breath and ran his hand through his hair. “I needed to get out of the house. It was...suffocating.”
Liv crossed her arms to shield herself from the cold.
“I’m sorry about your mom.”
“Thank you.”
Silence fell between them again and frankly, Liv didn’t know what to do next.
She still couldn’t figure out what made her chase him.
As her mind drifted, her body was suddenly filled with warmth.
Noah wrapped his coat around her before shoving his hands into his pockets.
“Noah I-”
“It’s cold,” he said simply. “You can give it back the next time we see each other.”
“Who said we’re going to be seeing each other again?” Liv asked, trying to conceal her smile.
Real emotion Liv couldn’t quite describe began to fill his features as he began to walk away, still facing her.
“I’ll see you, Liv,” he said, a genuine smile on his lips.
And without another word, he turned around and continued his way down the street.
And all she could do was stay put and watch him.
liv and noah are going on a date TOMORROW??
secure the wig ladies because liv, noah, and skam nl are coming for us

Liv and Noah are so precious!!
That's it.
That's the post.
I love them so much
so I spend my day rewatching the iconic first clip and am I the only one that noticed that Livs lipstick was fading during the whole scene and looked to be almost completely gone in when she rode off on her bike? I mean it was a pretty light colour to begin with, but i still feel like it faded away.
Following this is something that might not be very interesting for everyone so I put it under a cut.
