My first @foliosociety read. An abridged edition of #TheodorMommsen #AHistoryofRome. The tome is heavy. No wonder people say that Folio books are meant for display, but this is a great book. The original version is too long. It’s my second author of #NobelChallenge. This is a classic almost forgotten. The title can be a bit misleading. It actually stopped when Caesar won the civil war.
