This book #AmericanRepbublics also touched on other countries in the vicinity. Last year’s Pulitzer Prize winner for history. #AdaFerrer wrote an honest history on Cuba. It’s also a history on US involvement in Cuba. Lightweight compared to Hugh Thomas’s opus Cub published almost half century ago, which I haven’t read yet. I would never have read #SuperInfinite by #KatherineRundell had it not won the prestigious #BaillieGiffordPrize. Recently years many biographies won the prize. Some are quite unique in its form. This book is no exception. It’s a combination of biography and literary criticism. It reads more like a long essay.
