A frown decorated his features, his lack of enthusiasm was clear. Morisawa and whoever Knights’ leader was had decided a joint practice between the two units would be good for them. Midori, however, felt like it was weird. He had been getting along just fine with Shinkai-senpai and preferred to talk to him during practices, though it didn’t help much. Yet, here he was, supposed to be practicing with the only first year in Knights. 

He was sure the other, he wasn’t too sure of his name, was already fed up with him. He hadn’t done much yet, just stood there and waited for something. What was he waiting for exactly? Not even he knew, he wasn’t interested in being an idol in the least. Yet, Morisawa was clearly not going to give up on him. Now, the question was if Knights’ first year would give up on him.

             “Y’know, even though I have bad attendance records, you really shouldn’t doubt your king’s abilities, newbie...!” He was the slightest bit upset it was so surprising he had talent in archery as well, having told everyone he specifically was in the club because it was something he could do. Even though he kind of had the habit of only showing up to play with Little John and Nyaitsu, as he had dubbed her five kittens ( along with Suou’s naming of one of them being Leo, of course. )

              “I can still be skilled in alot of things without practice, I’m a genius after all!” Admittedly, the archery thing was something he practiced far younger, since his parents wanted him to participate in something more productive. At least being in archery could obtain him scholarships if he participated in tournaments while in most academies, but... Well, his participation was a bit of a problem. He mostly didn’t want to infuriate Keito with his abilities, given how rarely he showed up to club to participate. “I bet you could be pretty good with your diligence though, newbie~”

Healing Mission

There was a request about almost an entire village’s worth of patients in need of treatment, so they’re going to need an extra set of healers. And not only that, they also needed help in getting rid of the cause of what plagued all these people in the first place.

There were several mutant plants that have spawned in the forest near their village that releases toxic fumes, poisoning the air and thus affecting the neighboring village. It might even spread further if not dealt with as soon as possible.

Villagers need of healing, mutants in need of exterminating, and a whole forest that needs to be dispelled of poison…That’s a lot of work in a single quest.

Hajime — a young white mage—would have no trouble dealing with the healing and purifying parts of the job, but he’s not exactly the most skilled combatant to be exterminating any monsters.

That’s why accompanying him was Tsukasa. Not only was he more adept in combat compared to Hajime, but he too uses a bit of white magic up his sleeves. They’re a small team, but hopefully their skills combined would be enough to get the job done.

The two of them arrive at the forest opening. They’re going to start with the root cause of the problem: The extermination of those toxic mutant plants. Before they enter, the teal-haired male starts to rummage inside of his satchel, pulling out a small bottle containing some pills. He pops out two of those pills in his hand and gives one to his partner.

“Here, Tsukasa. You should take this first.” He told him. “It’s a special medicine that I bought that can keep you immune to ailments for some amount of time, it should keep us safe from getting infected from the poison. But if you still start to feel unwell, be sure to tell me okay? I brought a bunch of potions and elixirs with me just in case”

           Although Hotaru had been somewhat growing used to handling some of the idols in the idol course whenever Anzu wasn’t available, he had a sneaking suspicion that there might be some that specifically desired Anzu over him, even though that wasn’t really how it worked once you were an idol in the industry. You didn’t really get to choose who produced you if you really wanted to get started in such an industry.

           But, he could understand that sudden shifts in who you worked with could be unsettling. He especially was a bit worried about Knights when he heard about their leader returning. It seemed rocky from what he caught glimpses of and heard from Anzu, but he was most concerned for their newest addition. Tsukasa wasn’t necessarily bad ( at least he wasn’t tone deaf like he was ), and his footwork was decent for a first year... Not to mention, he liked showing up early like he did, as he found out today, the first time he was the one overseeing Knights’ practice for Anzu.

          “Ah, Tsukasa... Right? Anzu told me a bit about you, you’re the new first year in Knights, right?” Shifting through his messenger bag, causing a few charms to jingle and click as they were shifted with it. Once he found a folder he was looking for with copied documents, he handed it over. “Anzu wanted me to give everyone paperwork showing their improvements, you’ve actually got a lot of really good points of improvement from what I saw. I’ll be the unit’s producer for today, though, I hope it isn’t any trouble. She said you were really fond of her, and I was worried I’d throw a wrench in the unit’s practice just working in her place.”

The Rabbit’s Dessert

Hajime has done alot of part-time work both inside and outside of campus for a while now, but this is the first time he actually decided to take on a waitstaff job at the cafeteria. He’s always been shying away from jobs that involved social interactions, he thought that it’s a bout time that he finally conquered this fear of his. It may not seem much but Hajime still possesses some “man’s pride”

Thanks to the time he got to work together with Subaru sometime before Chocolat Fes, his observation on how his senpai handled the serving was a good example that the little bunny can follow.

He ties his apron around his face with a serious yet spaced-out look on his face. Trying to keep in mind all of those little actions that Subaru did and apply them as he heard out into the field of tables and dining students like he’s about to go out on a war zone.
