Just thinking about kat and 6 being the only women on noble team. Kat's hair is really short while 6's hair is longer, choppy, and uneven. You can easily tell she cuts her hair with crafts scissors when it gets too long. Yeah it's out of dress code but nobody has ever seen 6 without her helmet off so who cares. Except for noble team. Kat and 6 have a strange mutual understanding. They were orphans turned child soldiers. They remember their parents and planets and childhoods. Whenever kat braids 6's hair she feels normal again. It's healing to have a small slice of normalcy, sisterhood, in spite of constant war. And 6 feels the same way as well. Maybe it reminds kat of when she used to braid her friends' hair during recess when she was a little girl. Maybe it reminds 6 of when her mom or older sister braided her hair when her family was still alive and deeply treasured 6.

One of my headcanons for 6 is that she's a fashionista and by that I mean she has an entire walk in closet armory of different helmets in each shade and what not. I mean honestly it's the least ONI can do for their hyperlethal spartan. The idea of six maxing ONI's credit card like a spoiled daughter going on a shopping spree with her dad's wallet is funny and you know what that's 100% my 6. I can just imagine day 2 at noble team and carter is asking "6 how come you're not in your gray mark v?" "Oh that's just what I wear when Im lazy and dont want to look extra" and the rest of noble team thinks you swap mjolnir like they're everyday clothes??? And 6 shrugs. I live a high fashion life ok.

The belief that noble 6 actually wears the gray default armor is a tad bit silly. Ok do you also think Y/N is actually a gray skinny humanoid too? Obviously you're supposed to use your imagination to project your version of 6 onto the very obvious placeholder.
