do you have like any tips for drawing the spartans armour? It's the one reason I'm too scared to try make as fanart and you do it so well :')
I mostly use a translator, so please excuse any language issues.
Never be afraid to draw Spartans armor—taking the first step is what matters most. If you check my Tumblr, you’ll see I wasn’t good at coloring armour at first either. The first RvB piece I posted was actually the 6th one I’d drawn,I never shared the previous five.I’ve actually drawn more than 80 Halo fanarts so far.
Believe me, I was so frustrated when I drew Spartans armor for the first time, but I stuck with it. Besides the work I post on Tumblr, I create other art too. I’m always adjusting my approach to find what suits me best, which is why my coloring style for RvB is noticeably different from that for N6.
When drawing Spartans armor, you can pull up the Halo:The Master chief collection—using references appropriately is a great shortcut. I use a brush called Nikko Rull 2,I wonder if you’ve heard of it.
Omega is way more bark than bite. Professional Ragebaiter.
So, Omega is still very obsessed with Tex. He fronted for a majority of their relationship and was a big part of why they had been so rough and tumble with one another- that's how he likes it. He split from Alpha around age 16, desperate for attention and using 'macho' masculinity and aggression to get it.
Omega, before choosing the name O'Malley for himself, is pretty bad at trying to undo their progress, trying to get back to/with Tex. Tex who doesn't even know at this point that Church is a system, and had no idea who Omega even is.
Caboose can get frustrated with him pretty easy in these early stages.
But now they're with Caboose. Big, kindhearted, strong. A combination he lives to ragebait. Well, more than that, someone who he at the time would have seen as 'lesser' than him as they were working to unpack their internalized ableism.
Over time he ends up flanderizing himself to be kind of comically 'evil', mostly for the laugh. He really enjoys trying to get on Caboose's nerves so he'll roughhouse with him. Once Caboose notices the pattern he dissuades it [unless he's niceeee:) ]. To varying success.
