Well.. I think I get what you mean. But I like the tradition that's hidden behind it. You know? That romantic aspect... Because if you take marriage the traditional way - like, the man you marry is your only one, and you marry him to prove that you will be with him 'til the end of time; I guess it's a proof of love; at least for me. What I can't stand is the way people act today; like marriage is something you can throw away like garbage when your relationship doesn't work anymore.

Yeah, I can totally see your point, and that's one of the many reasons why I don't wanna get married.

I don't believe in that 'til-the-end-of-time kind of love; I mean, I do believe in love, I've been in love before, but people change and things around you too, and sometimes love fades away as time goes by. A few months ago my boyfriend and I broke up after a five-year relationship, and if you had asked me 3 or 4 years ago I'd have told you: "Yes, he's the only one, the right one" (: Obviously he wasn't, and we just went on with our lives; no bureaucracy involved, just the two of us. I like it that way. And, honestly, I don't wanna feel tied down. I don't wanna belong to anybody. I don't know, it's hard to explain.

So yeah, that's basically it.

I don't know, I just don't see it as a proof of love, and I can't see the point in getting married. I don't really know how to explain it, but I can't picture myself wearing a stunning white dress. I think that if he/she loves me and wants to stay with me, he/she will do it anyway.
