07: Something that makes your character happy
Jacen likes when her friends are happy, finds that other people’s happiness and excitement is contagious. She likes warm weather and dancing to fun music. She misses her twin and loves getting letters from hir and hearing about hir adventures. Ze is off exploring the world, and so their connection has distanced somewhat, but it is there. She collects the letters in her new, but tiny, office in the Ministry, hanging the envelopes because they’re so pretty. Oliver sends her care packages of her favourite sweets and knitted socks. They’re not great, but he’s getting better and she likes wearing them in the mornings before the floor’s warmed up enough to walk on barefoot. She like chatting with Margot over the phone while she’s getting ready or taking a study break, as her sister has a habit of making her forget the stress and just enjoy a few minutes out of each day. Morning kisses over expresso and eating her favourite desserts. She’s abundantly spoilt by Damien.
It isn’t hard to please Jacen Wood; optimism should’ve been her middle name.
15: Describe your character’s worst enemy
Jace doesn’t have a worst enemy, unless we’re counting time and responsibility. She disagrees strongly when necessary, but she has never genuinely hated anyone or considered them a cause lost enough that friendship is never considered. Some people just have a harder time opening up to others and need time and patience to do so. She has a habit of collecting people who seem unfriendable.
She is very emotion-driven, in that she will most likely follow her heart even if she has a bad feeling about trusting someone right off. Jay believes wholeheartedly in judging someone by their actions than by what she has heard, and giving everyone a fair chance. This has allowed her to be taken advantage of emotionally in the past, but she doesn’t let those instances keep her from reaching out to someone new.
