It was a fine line, especially after he discovered she could read thoughts, at keeping his mind devoid of the hidden identity that only 2 people in his life knew about. He couldn’t risk a 3rd. Two was bad enough. Luckily for him, he was an excellent liar.

          ‘ i don’t suppose you’re here about the seasonal positions. the autumn has always been a heightened time for human-nonhuman crime and i’ve got the same three chucklefucks as usual to cover the entire city. ‘ halloween alone was going to be a nightmare, trying to keep any humans from getting into trouble with shapeshifters or real magic. a few years ago, he’d had to cover a whole block that got hit with a contagious laughing hex some poor human with a real spellbook had cast to make their witch costume more authentic.

Thank you, I kind of posted the other one a bit nervous because I'm like am I annoying people. I should address it. I'm glad it wasn't just me who sees it as like... giving people the chance to reach out. That first step is super nerve wracking so I just wanna be approachable I guess.

If I get another one I'll probably just turn off anon for a while but it'd be a huge shame cause you do get lovely anons too.

But yeah it's almost like I follow people to write with them on this... writing blog 🤔 curious, very curious.
