NOBROW 7: Brave New World
Nobrow's 7th installment is subtitled, "Brave New World" as the editors asked the 45 contributing Illustrators to ponder Aldous Huxley's novel as their theme in the work they submitted. However, this volume speaks for itself as the brave, new world of Illustration luminaries. I've rarely held in my hands a treasure of collected artwork so well curated and so finely printed. The edition boasts a double cover - one side comics and one side illustration - but it should be respected as an effort to bring the two art forms closer together. Just as Supersonic Electronic is striving to close the gap between illustration, comics and fine art, Nobrow has done this difficult procedure without an ounce of misjudgment or flaw. The very large, 8.6" x 12", volume spans 128 pages and is available for purchase here.

Earlier this year I was thrilled to be asked to contribute to Nobrow 7: Brave New World. The book is filled to the brim with some amazing cartoonists and illustrators and I'm happy to be among them! I believe it is available for pre-order now. I'm very much looking forward to seeing the physical book! :
