Thomas and Alex do everything they can to keep their kids out of the press. They released several statements asking that people respect theirs and their children's privacy. They try to raise awareness of the harmful affects of the press on children who didn't ask to be born into this life. They make it known that their children are private citizens who have the right to privacy. Alex is active on social media campaigning against paparazzi of celebrity kids along with Chris Winters.
When they found out they were pregnant they bought a large property away from Hollywood and paparazzi. Their children have an enormous backyard to play in.
