That’s depressing! I will tell you, it’s the same here. A lot of teens here are obsessed with Britain, and have union jacks all over everything. They speak in terribly faked accents, and watch the BBC all they can. :\
I didn't know that, but it makes sense, I guess people usually want what they can't have for whatever reason. I forgot to add, children always put on horribly fake American accents when playing here, from all the American cartoons they're exposed to
If you had like a year with our government you'd never want to have anything to do with Britain again, haha
