Today a group of students at my school spoke out against the police doing prevention work at schools.

Here's their statement:

"Prevention of violence and advice on how to cope with bullying are important components of education, but leaving this to the police is nearly ironic. A reactionary government body which is, especially in Saxony, increasingly racist and defending our unjust ownership structure doesn't belong in schools.

For such purposes there are social workers and addiction counsellors who are doing really good and important work. Even if occasionally officials act nice and friendly,-

Prevention work and other actions outside of the classroom don't belong in the hands of the police! Furthermore they try to tell children at a young age the fairytale of the white knight with such tactics."

As to my mind too many leftists are mindlessly and without analysis provoking this is a strong statement.
