Some thoughts and photos from Wednesday's protest outside of the Board of Education in the wake of the CPS mass layoffs.
On Wednesday, CPS released it's budget amidst a large demonstration outside the board of education. Parents, students and teachers gave heartbreaking testimony as to how they will be impacted by further cuts, after the district already closed more than 50 schools and laid off 3,000 employees.
