Fane had only been back a couple of days and he was already causing Abel grief. It wasn’t like he was out to cause Abel grief, it just kind of happened that way. Fane’s fun was not Abel’s fun -- vice versa. The older hunter like a loud scene that literally made him forget everything nagging him from the back of his mind. He seriously didn’t want to think about anything and really that is what caused most of Fane’s problems -- he ran from them.
“It’s really not that big -- the party, I mean.” However, when they arrive at their destination... it was quite large. “Okay, maybe it has gotten a little out of hand.” Again, he really didn’t mean to cause Abel so much grief... it honestly just kind of happened that way. “Stay close to me.” He pauses as he looks back at the other. “Seriously, don’t stray.” There were a lot of faces that Fane did not recognize and that caused his guard to go up.
As they walked in -- the smell of sweat, alcohol and something fruity hit their noses. Fane had a bad feeling but he didn’t stop, he never did. He put himself in bad situations on purpose and that was mostly because he had issues (somehow Abel was there at least 75% of the time when Fane decided to do something stupid). “Don’t drink anything either.”
