Reno picked up the phone with a sigh. “So, got the present huh?” His laugh was a bit more nervous than it was jovial. He’d not really wanted this either; not with his track record of such things in the past. He was silent after that, not really sure what to say. They weren’t dating; they just hung out and occasionally things got intimate. He did NOT want that relationship ruined by this.

Angeal would find a box waiting in his mail slot to his quarters when he finally returned from work. Unwrapping the packaging showed - of all things - the box to a pregnancy test. Inside of it would be a printout of that night two months ago where they’d managed to hook up - just a selfie but the costumes were unmistakable - and a note that said simply:

“CONGRATULATIONS! It seems long term Mako treatments don’t make you sterile after all.”

The intoxicated Alpha stumbled back when the pants landed on her head, obscuring her vision. "Hey! S'not cool...No reason to be throwing stuff, ya jerk." She struggled momentarily but managed to pull them off her head. "Who-Who even carries pants with them? S'not a thing." War looked down, just then realizing that she wasn't wearing pants, though she made no effort to put the new pair on. "Shit. Who took my shirt? That's not ok..." Her gaze then went back to the SOLDIER who was very clearly trying to stay hidden. "Hey. I know you. You're that...you're that guy who was here the other day. Why are you on the floor like that?"

“Maybe if you would invite me before cooking; you’d know if i was available.” He rolled his eyes with an amused huff, only vaguely wondering why his friend was practically laying atop him. It didn’t matter over much, though the blush did catch him a bit. As a matter of personal comfort one of his arms slung over Angeal’s back lightly and he let his eyes close again.

It was strangely comfortable to have something supporting his long limbs for once; though also strangely soothing to feel the steady rise and fall of another’s breathing nearby. “Hopefully your sleep will be undisturbed now.”

Eden couldn’t help but tilt her head at the symbol before turning her eyes towards him. It was strange, to hear someone as powerful and imposing as the SOLDIER be intimidated by her. She blinked, taking a moment to process this before stiffly shaking her head. “I don’t see how I can be intimidating to you...” She forced a weak smile then, “And I had thought we were friends.”
