Noel had been at their friend's apartment for a few hours now. They helped set up, take a few photos before the apartment was full and had a couple beers as people started to trickle in for the New Years festivities. Noel was in great spirits even if they were a tiny bit nervous about Isabella meeting the rest of their friends. It would be their first New Years with a partner probably since their 20s and they just wanted the two of them to have a good time. Isabella had already met a few of their friends but this was the first time they'd be altogether and Noel was just grateful that their best friends Gustavo and Alina would also be there and they absolutely adored Isabella.
They had just finished taking some photos of a few groups of people when the elevator that opened up into the apartment dinged and Noel turned just in time to see Isabella getting off. "Holy shit," they said, louder than they intended as their gorgeous girlfriend walked off the elevator and into the party. They were frozen there for a moment, just looking at her until Gustavo told them to stop drooling and they remembered they were actually a person.
"Mi reina, you look..." they were speechless as they held out their hands for Isabella and brought them to their lips before leaning in to kiss her. "You look so amazing I forgot how to breathe for a second." They wrapped her up in a hug, careful not to hit her with their camera as they took in her scent and the feel of her nearness.
