🤥 - Are they good liars? Do they have tells to show they’re lying? Nova is a good liar, like really good. No tells to speak of. Noemi is a terrible liar, she gets nervous when it comes to lying and always twirls her hair.
👻 - Do they believe in ghosts? what are their "ghostly experiences", if any? They do believe in ghosts, yes! They’re not exactly superstitious or anything, but they believe in ghosts. Noemi has never had a run in with them but Nova has heard creepy things when she’s been in the house alone.
😭 - What makes them cry? Do they cry easily? Nova doesn’t cry easily. It really takes a lot to make her cry. Noemi is an easy crier, she will cry at everything. Noemi is also an angry crier.
💢 - What are some habits they have that will take some getting used to? Noemi is a nail biter, especially when nervous. Idk if that takes much getting used to but the sound can be irritating and may take some getting used to. Nova is a fighter, she will get into fights over the littlest of things. It’s a habit. If someone so much as gives her a dirty look, she will throw a punch. Carlos often has to pull her away due to this before it gets escalated too far.
👨👨👦 - What is their family like? What is your ocs relationship to them? Does your oc have any siblings? Their family is super sweet and caring. If not, a little fed up with Nova’s behaviour. Noemi is closer to her mother than her father, whereas Nova is closer to her father as a lot of her personality is from him. Nova and Noemi do have an older brother, but he left a long time ago and they rarely talk to him now as he lives out in the city with his boyfriend.
💤 - do they fall asleep easily? what helps them sleep? Do they sleep in the same bed/room? Nova has to toss and turn a few times before she can get into a comfortable position, Noemi can fall asleep in the click of a finger. The twins do sleep in the same room. They have a bunk bed, Nova is on the top bunk and Noemi takes the bottom.
🥞 - What is their comfort breakfast? Noemi loves a little quaint breakfast, fruit in a bowl with pancakes. Nova likes to fill her plate, she enjoys waffles and arepas.
🍩 - Favourite sweet treat? Noemi loves cocodas. Nova enjoys hard boiled sweets, especially ones with sherbet inside.
☕️ - Do they prefer hot or cold drinks? What is their favourite drink? Nova prefers hot drinks, she’s a coffee addict. Noemi is a cold drink lover, she likes a simple orange juice.
🍓 - Do they eat fruit and veg? Which is their favourite? Nova hates most things healthy! However, her favourite fruits are strawberries and bananas. Noemi loves being on a huge health kick, she loves all kinds of fruit and veggies especially carrots and she always tries to get Nova to be healthier.
🍧 - Do they still have any objects from their childhood? What significance does it have to them? What would their reaction be if they lost it? They doooo! Nova was always into animals when she was young, for her fifth birthday she received a stuffed leopard from her papá. It’s her most cherished possession, if she lost it she would commit murder, literally. Noemi in turn, is a flowery sunshine baby, she got a little snuggle buddy panda holding little tulips and has always cherished it. In all honesty, if she ever lost it she would just cry. No matter how old she is, she will just break down crying if she lost it.
💐 - Create a bouqet for them! What do those flowers mean? Are any of the flowers their particular favourite? Nova’s bouquet would be super messy. Like literally, all different types of flowers with no particular meaning, however, she would try to keep them all one simple colour. Noemi would have a bright bouquet of all different colours, she would have some super cute meaning to it, like love or sunshine or something. Her favourite flowers are tulips and sunflowers.
🌙 - What is your oc's greatest wish? How far are they willing to go for it? Nova’s greatest wish is something simple - she just wants to be liked - Far too often she isn’t due to getting into fights and such. Noemi dreams of being bigger than the small town of Encanto, she dreams of leaving the town one day and exploring more of the world, but she’ll never leave without her sister.
☀️ - Are they a morning person? What’s the first thing they do in the morning? Nova? No, absolutely not. She hates the mornings, she would sleep in until noon if she could most days. Noemi? Yes, absolutely. She usually exercises in the morning, going for a run or whatever. She’s also a big sports fan too, she enjoys football.
🕷 - What is their biggest fear? Do they have any irrational/mundane fears? Nova rarely fears anything. She really doesn’t fear much. Noemi however is scared of most things, her most irrational/mundane one would probably be loud noises. She enjoys being loud herself but when she hears loud noises, it immediately strikes some kind of fear in her.
🙈 - What’s a side of your oc that they don't want to show other people? Nova doesn’t like showing people her kind side. She only ever really shows her kindness to Carlos and Noemi. Noemi doesn’t like showing people her angry side, she’s an angry crier and she rarely gets angry at all but she hates people seeing her like that.
🙉 - What is the worse thing your oc could hear from someone? The worst thing Nova could hear from someone is something bad against Noemi, she really will go into a full murderous spree with said person. The worst thing Noemi could hear would be something bad about herself, honestly, she would literally just cry. Just break down and cry.
🙊 - What is something your oc will refuse to stay quiet about? Nova is loud about everything. She’ll shout everything good that happens to her from the rooftops, I guess the main thing she’ll refuse to stay quiet about is when she wins a fight, she will brag until the her next win. Noemi refuses to stay quiet about most things, she will always shout about it when she sees a new beautiful flower of some kind that she loves. She will immediately run to Isa and ask her about it to find out EVERYTHING there is to know about that specific flower.
🌱 - What is their most vivid memory from childhood? Nova’s would have to be the time they first moved to Encanto, Noemi thinks they’ve lived there their whole lives but Nova remembers the rocky ride and asking her papá all sorts of questions about the new town they’d be living in. Noemi’s most vivid memory would be her third birthday, she doesn’t remember too much before then but she remembers the extravagant birthday party that was thrown for the twins.
🌌 - What was the inspiration behind your oc? What was the first thing you decided about them? Honestly, I have ocs for almost every single fandom I’m in so I really wanted to make an oc to go with Carlos. The first thing I decided about them was their name and physical appearances - And that they would be twins.
🍁 - What is their favourite season? Why? Noemi is definitely a spring girl. She loves the colours and the flowers and everything. Nova is more of a colder seasons kinda girl, the time between Autumn and Winter is her favourite, the falling leaves and everything is so pretty to her and she just really loves the colder days due to enjoying hot beverages.
⚾️ - Can they play sports? What is their best position if they play a team sport? What's their strong suit (speed, power etc.)? Noemi plays sports, she’s a football star on the football team at her school and her best position is the running back. Nova does not like sports, although she is a track star at school, and she’s quite speedy but outside of that, she hates exercise.
🏊 - Can they swim? Or are they afraid of water? How well do they swim? How do they feel about swimming in the ocean? Noemi can swim, she is a very strong swimmer and she loves swimming in the ocean. Nova cannot swim, when she was younger she almost drowned and whenever she’s pranked with water or pushed into water she will panic and scream and even cry. She will literally have a full on panic attack no matter how shallow the water is, she goes into full ptsd panic.
📣 - How loud are they? What do they speak like? Got a voice claim? Nova is very loud. Noemi is only loud from time to time. Nova is quite a quick speaker where as Noemi talks slow and annunciated. I don’t have any actual voice claims decided, maybe Emeraude Toubia? But idk.
📖 - Do they like reading? What's their favourite genre? They both love reading. Noemi reads a lot more than Nova. Noemi’s favourite genre is romance & YA. Nova’s favourite genre is crime and thriller stories.
📸 - Do they enjoy having their picture taken? What's their go-to pose? Do they like taking photos? What’s do they take photos of? Yes. Noemi is super happy and confident in front of the camera whereas Nova isn’t as confident and she will get sorta shy but tries to brush it off. Nova’s go-to pose is the peace sign and a resting bitch face. Noemi’s go to pose is just the biggest smile she can muster. They do enjoy taking photos, Nova mainly takes photos of the night sky/the moon. Noemi takes photos of flowers, like super aesthetic-y ones.
🎭 - Do they act differently around certain people? What’s different between the way they act around friends, family, strangers, etc.? Noemi is super sweet and kind and caring to everybody. She always acts the same around people. Nova is mainly a troublemaker, she does have a sweet and kind side around Noemi and Carlos and her father. She has a intimidating side according to most strangers and she doesn’t really have many friends as most people find her intimidating so.
✂️ - What is the "last straw" for them to cut someone out of their life? how easily do they let go of people? It takes A LOT for Noemi to cut somebody out of her life, she’s too sweet and kind to actually cut somebody out so she rarely will, it’s difficult for her to let people go. Nova will cut people out left right and centre, she will usually give second chances but is somebody fucks up a second time, that’s the last straw for her. She will cut them off, let them go and move on with her life.
🎁 - What types of presents would they be most happy to receive? Are they good at gift giving? Noemi is happy with literally any gift she receives. Nova is a big fan of anything related to animals, so her favourite gifts always have to have something to do with animals - Stuffed animals are her favourite. Noemi is great at gift giving, Nova isn’t as good but she gets a lot of help from Noemi so when she’s giving gifts people are always happy.
🍼 - What are their thoughts on children? They both love children. However, children only really like Noemi as they find Nova too terrifying, also because Nova sometimes helps Carlos when he’s pranking the children.
✏️ - Is there a particular quote/lyric that you associate with them? For Nova I associate “She’s a badass with a good heart.” with her. For Noemi it’s “She’s got a smile that would outshine the sun.”
🎤 - Are they good at singing? What is their go-to karaoke song? They are both pretty good at singing, they’ve been taking singing lessons ever since they were seven. However, Noemi is the main one that sings. Nova doesn’t really show off that talent. In modern day, Noemi’s go to karaoke song would be something by Taylor Swift. Nova’s would probably be one by Simple Plan or Shinedown.
🎷 - Do they play any instruments? Are they any good at it? Nova plays guitar. Noemi plays piano. They’re both super good at it.
📚 - how were they at school? what is their best subject? what is their worst subject? do they have a favourite subject? They are both super smart at school. Nova’s best subject is music, Noemi’s best subject is maths. Nova’s worst subject is P.E probably (aside from track which she loves, she just can’t be bothered with the other sports), Noemi’s worst subject is Geography. Nova’s favourite subject is criminology and history, Noemi’s favourite subject is P.E.
👖 - What is their go-to outfit? Nova’s is usually a purple dress that is either sleeveless or off the shoulder. Noemi’s is a pink dress with thrills/ruffles and flowers on it.
🎀 - How would they fit into other worlds/aus? what aus would you like to try out? what fictional world would they fit/not fit into? I think they would fit into most other worlds. I would love to try out other Disney worlds with them in, maybe Frozen? I feel like Elsa and Nova would be great friends and Noemi and Anna would be good friends. I also feel like Noemi would fit into the Underdogs squad in Luca.

📦 - what are some "most likely to.." that can apply to them? Nova: most likely to start a bar fight, most likely to be in the olympics for sprinting, most likely to kill someone for looking at her wrong. Noemi: Most likely to throw a party for a pets birthday, most likely to still have tea parties with her stuffed animals, most likely to become the first female football player for Colombia.
❇️ - what is their most prized possession? what do they value? Nova’s most prized possession is her stuffed leopard and her penknife. Noemi’s most prized possession is a vase her Abuela made for her when she was ten but the thing that each of them value the most is each other.
💧 - random angst headcanon? I suck at this 😭😂 First up, Nova; When she was ten, she and Carlos got into a huge fight and he ended up pranking her with water causing her to have a full on panic attack. Noemi: Someone once bullied her for growing flowers of her own even though Isabela was the flower queen on Encanto, one day she woke up to find all of her flowers in her garden shredded to pieces.
🔥 - do they have any self destructive tendencies? What habits do they have that hinder them from becoming their best selves? Noemi doesn’t really have any to be honest. People already see her as her best self. The only thing I can say for Nova is her fighting, that stops her from becoming her best self, and her attitude.
☁️ - a soft headcanon? Again, I suck at this 😭 But sometimes when Nova has a really bad dream, she will sometimes climb into bed with Noemi who will look after her and run her fingers through her hair and let her know that everything’s okay and she’s not at that river anymore.
💓 - what gets their heart racing? The Madrigal twins to be honest. Noemi is interested in Camilo and as we all know, Nova is with Carlos, and whenever camilo so much as smiles at Noemi it gets her heart racing and whenever Carlos corners Nova or kisses her or smirks at her, it gets her heart racing.
💗 - if they have a crush, is it noticable? what changes when they're in love? Nova tries not to make it noticeable, however when she had a crush on Carlos she would often tuck her hair behind her ear whenever she would see or talk to the boy. It is very noticeable with Noemi’s crush on Milo, she will become stuttery and fidgety and a lot more shy when talking to him. Nothing much changes when they’re in love, Nova is still a troublemaker and Noemi is still super sweet and kind.
❤️ - Their love languages? Noemi’s love language is giving gifts/flowers. That’s how she shows her love, she will give you flowers that she has taken her time to grow herself and make them into a beautiful bouquet. Nova will defend you to the death, that’s how she shows love. She will stand up for you regardless of whether you’re around or not.
💔 - what could their partner do that would absolutely break their heart? For Nova; Leave her and make her think it was all fake. Also, cheating on her. For Noemi; turning against her or ignoring her will break her heart, sometimes the ignoring is unintentional and she understands that but if the ignoring continues she will be heartbroken… If Nova ever finds her crying, whoever ignoring her better watch their backs because all hell really is about to break loose.
