Blame @lady-of-the-upside-down for this hahaha 😆
How socially awkward Telemachus was that Athena herself took his form to...book the trip!? 😂 She literally took his form and asked for a boat and Noemon was happy to give it. She didn't do it in the form of Mentor because she wanted people to see Telemachus as a more active ruler most likely but she didn't wanna put Telemachus himself to do it hahahaha (I know she wanted him to have an alibi by allowing him to be at the presence of the suitors so the trip would be planned in peace but you can't convince me that she didn't think Telemachus might ruin everything hahahaha)
Hahaha 🤣 so hilarious and even more hilarious if you consider this:
Athena was being Athena and probably didn't tell to the poor guy Noemon when his boat would be returned or I wonder if she spelled it out where Telemachus would go with it so the poor guy being like "dude where are you? I thought you needed it for a couple of days"
Little shy dumass Telemachus arrived at Port finding a ship waiting for him and he thought that Mentor prepared everything for him (Extra points if Noemon told him "is here like you requested it" and it takes Telemachus a few minutes to realize that said deity that helps him did the thing instead or putting two and two together anyways and realize that both are the same deity)
The suitors hearing that "Telemachus was out there asking for a ship" while Telemachus was with them the whole time!
Homer is the grandfather of comedy 🤣
