Some concept art i've been making in the bg.
Raaf is pretty much the same. Even though I like the idea of him having feather dreads, they don't really work irl. So instead they're just regular feathers he slicks down with gel to give a thinner look.
Vitur has been completely redesigned. He's still a parental figure to Raaf and a higher up in his tribe. He has a modest aviary where he rescues and raises vultures.
Noft and Omadula are new characters. Oma is a drone shaman who loves golden ladybugs. His mentor died before Oma could fully complete training. He is somewhere between Vitur and Raaf in status being occasionally mentored by the former.
Noft is an odd old mud who, while kind, mostly keeps to herself. She needs to take on a new student but does not want to. Vitur bothers her about it a lot so she avoids him and Raaf.
Raaf likes to tease an amphibious form of Slog when he's frustrated. I don't have a name for them yet but they fill the role of piranhas and hunt Grogs. When tamed they're semi-independent like a cat.
Then there are the wooden boats sligs and muds use to traverse the swamps. They can fit two muds or three sligs at a time. Underneath are updated icons to represent some of the tribes in the area. The bug lotus is the corvokon symbol, snake plant is for the sligs, and the yinyang with hearts is Jarta's business logo.
