This recipe for turkey breast and gravy in the slow cooker makes a dish that is moist and tasty with little work. It's perfect for a stress-free holiday meal or any other event.
Ingredients: 1 6 to 7 pounds bone-in turkey breast. 1 onion, chopped. 3 cloves garlic, minced. 1 cup chicken broth. 1/4 cup soy sauce. 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce. 1 teaspoon dried thyme. 1 teaspoon dried sage. 1/2 teaspoon black pepper. 1/4 cup all-purpose flour. 1/4 cup cold water.
Instructions: In the bottom of a slow cooker, put chopped onion and minced garlic. On top of the onions and garlic, put the turkey breast. Spices like thyme, sage, black pepper, and soy sauce should all be mixed together in a bowl. Spread the mix on top of the turkey breast. Cover and set the heat to low. Cook for 6 to 7 hours, or until the turkey is soft and cooked all the way through. Once the turkey is done, take it out of the crock pot and let it rest. The flour and cold water should be mixed together in a small bowl until the mixture is smooth. Bring the cooking liquid from the slow cooker to a boil in a saucepan. Join the flour slurry with a whisk. Stir the gravy all the time over medium-low heat until it gets thicker. Serve turkey breast with gravy after cutting it up.
