B.o.B - No Genre 2 Mixtape

vor ca. vier Wochen hat B.o.B sein kostenloses Mixtape No Genre 2 rausgehauen und ja der junge ist - nach seinen poprap Album Strange Clouds (2012) und dem misslungenen Underground Luxury (2013) - mal wieder ein bisschen mehr mit Rap unterwegs und weniger mit Singsang. 

Das Mixtape hat in den Beats gute Samples verarbeitet, rein textlich wirkt das ganze Ding aber eher bei `ner Tasse Tee runtergeschrieben. Auch die Features können nicht in Gänze überzeugen.

Leider kommt es lange nicht an den Beast Mode aus No Genre ran, wodurch ich den Jungen 2010 tierisch gefeiert habe.

B.O.B - No Genre 2

I listened to eleven out of the fourteen songs on this mixtape while I was doing other things; reading about LeBron going back to the Cavs, looking at the latest football transfer rumours (Yes, I'm English and I follow the NBA fully, [OKC TID baby] It's the best of both worlds) , on twitter ect.

I have to say, very boring, there was nothing I specifically disliked about the tape, but there was nothing that made me even remotely nod my head. I'd rather have a few songs I dislike on an album or mixtape and have some good songs as well rather than just laying it safe and going for generic sounds. The best thing about this mixtape for me were the skites in between a couple of the songs , they made me laugh.
