Better (verse 2)
Sometimes I don’t know why I try, positivity in mind but nowadays it seems like loyalty is impossible to find. 2 efforts into one combined, balanced never inclined, it aint that hard to do just a matter of staying true, and that applies to very few, regardless if I change my views, guess its cause of the past and all the shit that I’ve been through, but when I put aside the past and try to focus on the present, I find myself caught up and find my heart full of resentment. Never pleasant regretting reality when it set in. Whats pleasant is being a step closer to whats destined. So from now on, Ima treat these lessons as blessings because it isn’t where you’ve been but where you’re meant to be headed. Life is made of highs and lows, thats just how it goes. So I aint trippin on your decisions and actions that you chose. I stop focusing on words, but actions and what they show, cause the ones that say hold on will be the same ones to let go.
