Just say “No” to Gatekeeping In Gaming.

How many ways can I say, "Don't be a jerk?" Yes, EVERYONE is welcome in the TTRPG hobby and Miniatures Wargaming spaces. However, disruptions are not welcome. I hope to shed some light on the gatekeeping phenomenon.

There is this absurd notion that it’s okay to keep people away from our hobbies. I’ve been seeing more posts online again about. “This is why we should keep people away from [whatever] game.” Usually it’s Dungeons & Dragons or Warhammer 40K that conservatives seems to be trying to drive the “woke” crowd away from.The prevailing theory to counter this argument is that “{Game} is for Everyone.”…

I've heard multiple reviewers say, "Save your money." Or, "Maybe look at buying other products."

I kinda saw this coming. Why didn’t they learn from this? I’ve heard multiple reviewers say, “Save your money.” Or, “Maybe look at buying other products.” In other words, even some of the hardcore YouTubers and other Wizards of the Coast/D&D rah-rah reviewers aren’t into it. I mean, it looks cool. The art is amazing. But the content? Like the actual meat and bones of the campaign setting?…
