"Huh. That thing real?" Toji is referring to her reptilian companion. He had seen all manners of grotesque cursed spirits, big, small and the malformed all over. Even ones that looked similar to this dragon, but this thing might actually be the genuine article.

Had it not been for the large, winged reptile, his attention would one-hundred percent be on the beautiful woman before him. But this island city took his mind off his usual vices, keeping him intrigued like never before. "You know, I had a pet-companion thing too. It's a little uglier than this guy, though."

"Are you hurt, ma'am? I found a first-aid kit in one of the rooms, so I've got..." she looks through the kit. "Um. Bandages and stuff."

...she's quickly realizing she doesn't entirely know how to use all the stuff in a first-aid kit. Maybe having it on hand will be helpful if this lady needs it, though. Luckily, Kay hasn't gotten more than a scratch or two, but those weird robots really aren't messing around.

"I haven't seen any of the robots near this room, but I dunno about anything up ahead." She looks over at the other lady; even if they can't stay long, at least there's space to take somewhat of a breather.

"Do you think the exit is close by? I'm getting real tired of running around..."

Trahearne placed his hands over his ears, a golden glow coming from the depths and crevices of his wilted form as he tries to keep the dragon's voice from his mind. It did little, of course, given Modredmoth remained rooted in his skull with no viable way of removing the beast.

A personal hell. One he had hoped death would relieve him of, but alas... Strictly speaking, he was hoping he had fallen into the dream, amongst his late brothers and sisters. A relief taken from him and this place... Pale Mother, this place! He had gotten nowhere with his pursuits of knowledge on Spirale.

Not that he had tried, given his wanderings for the past three days. He didn't realize he was on a collision course with a stranger, running into them full body and stumbling back, hands falling from his head as he stares wide eyed.

"My apologies, I wasn't--" he winces again at the dragon's booming laughter filling his mind, slapping his hands over his ears again. "S-sorry. Sorry."

That's a Wyvern. He recognizes that creature! He almost, almost, forgets Cherche's old warnings not to run up on a Wyvern unexpectedly and digs his heels in to stop short of where it could snap him in its jaws if it really wanted him.

Luckily the rider is nearby, and he points out at the Wyvern with clear excitement on his face.

"You! Is this yours?"

"Wow. What's their name? And - what's your name?"

The last celebration she had been to felt like eons ago— In a time where the path she had cut reigned true. In a world where the empire's reds and golds hung high above the rest. Here, in this castle high above the ground, it felt nothing like the one that crowned her emperor.

As Edelgard stood near the tables adorned with food and refreshments, she crossed her arms over her chest and observed the crowds' dancing. A man, bumping his shoulder into another woman. A lady, more concerned with catching attention than how she was moving.

At a party, one truly was never alone. "Look in front of us. Just from standing here, it seems the other guests can't separate their lefts from their rights."

"whoaaa, what is that??" denji says, in awe at what looks to be a small dragon beside this person.

"is it the dragon devil...?" he thinks it's cute either way!

"heeeey! excuse me, miss!"

kangel walks up to the stranger excitedly. she had been scouting around for a while, trying to find a suitably cute cafe with the perfect aesthetics that matched her. coming to spirale hadn't stopped her dream of becoming a streamer– in fact, she felt like it only spurred her on. if she had vods of another world, wouldn't that make her super popular?!

"hey, so, i'm about to start a stream but getting permission to get someone on video is important, right? so i wanted to ask if it'd be okay to, like, interview you for a vlog! if one cute girl would be popular, then two cute girls would help my views skyrocket!!"

At last the lingering rage and sting of humiliation from her first encounter in the city was starting to fade from Neo's mind. Even so, she needed something to center herself- something to get her back into a state of thinking smart, ready to plot out her next move. Tea would do the trick, but she wasn't sure which tea houses here were the best, and she sure wasn't going to pay for something that ended up being terrible.

Luckily she had an easy con to pull in situations like this. After a quick lift of some little plastic bugs from a toy store, she found a lovely café to pop into. A clean cup and saucer were easy pickings, and once she’d positioned herself near the tea trolley, a quick FLICK! of her finger sent one of the bugs into a nearby customer’s cup.

“…Eugh! Uh, excuse me? There’s a fly in my tea!” “O- oh, I’m so sorry, sir! Lemme just…”

The distraction as they went for the man’s teacup lasted more than long enough for Neo to swipe the teapot on the trolley and discreetly pour a full cup for herself before setting it back where it was. Then the easiest part- walking along as if she owned the place and sliding into a seat across from a stranger so as not to arouse suspicion from the staff. As for the lavender-haired woman now across from her, she gave her most polite smile and waggling of her fingers. Always nice to have tea with a friend.
