UP ATS Busts ISI-Linked Terror Plot: Two Suspects Arrested in Noida
In a major counter-terror operation, the Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) has arrested two young suspects from Noida for alleged links with Pakistan-based gangsters and the ISI network. Identified as Tushar Chauhan alias Hizbullah Ali Khan and Sameer Khan, both were reportedly being radicalized through social media and recruited for terror-related activities.
Authorities revealed that the suspects were in contact with operatives who were encouraging reconnaissance of sensitive locations, targeted attacks, and sleeper cell formation. During the raid, ATS recovered a pistol, live cartridges, a knife, and mobile devices containing crucial digital evidence.
Interrogation suggests a larger conspiracy involving financial incentives and plans to send recruits abroad via Dubai. A case has been registered under UAPA and other serious charges, with further investigation underway to dismantle the broader network.
