little update:

the boyf downloaded the sims onto his new laptop, and he’s willing to let me download some CC! this is a temp thing. so i won’t have as much CC as in my own game, but who cares! So happy to have this little snippet of space to get some better quality images !

Just to tell you, you build lovely houses, I'm surprised at the amazing quality despite you being a "starter". May I ask you how you take such pretty pictures? Welcome to the simblr community, hope you have lots of fun and enjoy both the game and the gamers.

First and foremost: Thank you for being so lovely :) it’s wonderful to be so welcomed!

I’ve been simming since the beginning, back to wonderful days of the sims (1). It’s been something i’ve been quite passionate about for the majority of my life really. I was pretty young when i first started out and i was making all those ridiculous non realistic houses that had no walls and where floating. Then when i started playing them on console, i would constantly be renovating with the limitations and fully committing to game play. When the sims 2 came out for desktop i was was never off my computer. I literally would just build and build and build. I was playing The sims Urbz alongside it when i wanted to be more interactive and i got so so so close to completing it and then it glitche and i had that falling tomb raider thing were i lost all my rep during an auto save and was stuck in the middle of the road outside the map. I kinda lost my faith then and didn’t really play for a loooonnggg time. I kind of fell out of love with it and pursued other things. That was until i got to uni and one of my house mates had the sims 3. And of course we had simming sessions together to bond and i ended up investing in it again. I was so out of practice with build and such and i was never really much of a landscaper, so as i do with alot of things i turned to the youtube community and i’ve been building like this ever since. My boyfriend didn’t get it at first when i’d sit and watch 40min long videos of speed builds, but after i started sharing my build with him, he started to find it actually quite cool and compared it too his obsession with skate videos.

I invest so much time in my builds that sometimes i don’t even get time to actually play. But that’s the beauty of the sims and this community, everyone plays the sims in their own way and creatively express themselves to the aspects that they most enjoy. It’s such a wonderful universal game that absolutely everyone will find something to enjoy!

I’ve always used CC in my games, and after finding the tumblr community so open and so wonderful i just knew i HAD to be apart of it. I’ve tried many different outlets and hobbies that are web related. But i’ve never fully related to them until now!

Super sorry for the long long post, but i felt inspired to rave about this wonderful space of the internet!

I take my captions in game, and then upload them to pickmonkey and change the exposure, softness and sharpness. I’m still playing about with it, as sometimes i change the saturation. I do use photoshop, but i just think it’s much much easier to use tools online.

So my boyfriend just got a new laptop that has gaming specs.

and i saw for the first time the slight awfulness** of my graphics.

I’m devastated. I’m going to looking to updating my drivers for my desktop, so i can run the sims 4 happily.

I did have a series 700 but it wouldn’t fit on my motherboard.

I want ultra graphics, but life is testing me!

if i’d have know how awesome the sims 4 was, i’d have bought a better laptop last year.. *cries into hands*

Oh my gosh! FIRSTLY, i would like to say THANKYOU too my firt 100 + followers! I feel so privilidged to come onto tumblr after a week of absence to find that i hit the 100 threshold! It is so refeshing to know that there are so many wonderful souls in the sim community and i am privilidged to be included! It makes me happy to know that there are people willing to take this journey with me! As i've been away i haven't had the chance to aswer the question that i've recieved, which i am planning to do ASAP! once again thankyou so much! if there's anything you want to see more of, don't fret to leave me a message :D
