Poison’s been sliding in and out of consciousness for the past thirty minutes at this point, exhausted from a long drive. They’d just returned from a supply run and had promptly started telling Pony the whole story, before they’d pretty much collapsed against their shoulder.
“I’m so fucking tired,” Poison mutters. “But th’ drive back home wasn’ bad, and I wanted t’ see you, and I thought maybe, I dunno...” A long pause, and then they speak up again. “I really like you, Pony, you’re one of th’ best friends I’ve ever had, I... d’you mind if I use you as a pillow?”
