She's back!! I might even use it for the gig tonight. Revived my amp guru @blankenship_roy of Blankenship amplification. 1983, fully stock 6550. Picky with preamp tube combinations. And only likes my Klon driving the front end. Its mainly a recording amp. I'll use it live for Covra or heavier applications. We removed the bright caps. Which sometimes tames these models. And allows you to actually use the treble knob. Which a lot of the time you roll the treble all the way off. I'm putting the bright caps back in for my taste. It definitely warmed it up. But, for my current applications, I need this thing exposing all flaws. So lucky to have a 50watt 2204. #JCM800 #jcm8002204 #noitsnotforsale
