I know i don’t have that many followers on this account, but it needs to be alerted. After ICE’s little escapades with LGBTQIA+, Trump and RFK Jr are now playing with WIC, which is a free program allowing expecting mothers and young children who aren’t in the best situations to be able to afford good food. With these proposed cuts, breastfeeding mothers will have their monthly budget slashed from $52 to $13, and families with young children’s get battered from $27 to $10. Its wrong. Its fucked up. Its immoral and greedy and douchey. RFK keeps spewing his eat real food bullshit, yet supports decisions that prevent people from eating said food. Want my source for this? Right here.

If you have a school-age student in need of breakfast and lunch this summer (or know of someone who does), simply text “FOOD” to 877877 , they will ask for your zip code and then you will receive a message back with a location closest to where they can get a free summer meal.

The service is also available in Spanish, by texting the word “COMIDA” instead of “FOOD” to 877877.

This is a nationwide program, run by No Kid Hungry, so please repost for all of the children who are struggling to get enough food. Even if your child isn’t in need, someone else’s is. No child deserves to go hungry, ever. Please repost wherever you are able. Thank you.
