down here in the dirty south, we know how to do three things: drink, eat & party! even though i now live in the 337, i’m from the 504 & my roots sure do show it! whether it’s football season or PaRtY gRaS, we know how to have a good damn time!! above are just some of my favorite times of the year. if you haven’t experienced crawfish, mardi gras or a New Orleans Saints game, ya missin’ out sha!!!

Wow! A wayback, throwback memory happened this afternoon as I was sorting through some boxes. I found this pink polo shirt I had on at a bar in Austin one night during a convention I was attending as part of the Texas Civic Center Association. #TimCampbell was also a member of the association and invited his brother Earl to come visit his friends.. Yes! The #EarlCampbell. As he sat next to me and chatted someone ask for his autograph and I said, well, I want it too and so he said, only if he can write it on my shirt! Of course, I said. Go ahead!! 🤣 He wrote To Liz, Peace and Love, Earl Cambell and drew a little heart. I told him the heart looked like a butt so he tried to write "heart" by it. I laughed and said it looked more like 'heat' and I won't even tell you where that conversation went.
