Noli before he lost it

I gave him a fancy outfit cause I feel like he would revel in his mythical status and use his clothes to signify his importance anytime he appeared in a server to mess things up! So that people are like “Hey… that’s THE Noli…” and not like some rando hacker in a hoodie ya know? He gets casual shoes though for the funnies

Tbh I started having second thoughts about the design a few hours in… whateva

Yes I know he’s not supposed to have the Void Star at this point but it fit so shhh

design rant below :D

ok so because my 1x and tela designs are like. SO egregiously over designed (i love it that way tbh) i tried to keep noli as CLOSE AS POSSIBLE TO CANON while still adding unique details! noli’s normal side has a pattern on it — i noticed the cheek mark on the left side and it reminded me of a really fun pattern technique i learned a long time ago, i tried to apply them in a way that reflected musculature, if that makes sense? i also wanted to make him look creepier so i gave him pupils, long nails, and humanoid teeth, for the skeletal side, i followed the subtle ribcage his official design has, and tried to give him a subtle burned / withering look, but kept it light! i thought the mini flames / plasma could help bring some parts of the void star into him, like it’s energy is consistently being expelled, but i might change it, i gave him cracked nails to give him that zombie-esque look, and made the teeth sharp to contrast the other side! the crown is exactly the same as canon basically, i turned his frown into a smile because i liked it better

i am gave him a gap in his chest for the voidstar! im stealing my 1x idea and giving him a star core too… (the space obsessed part of me caved)

i was trying SO hard not to add more and keep him close to canon, but i’ll probably give him an outfit later, if any of you know any mythological beings or ancient philosophers n stuff i can take inspo from pls reccomend! im not gonna do anything like the zhenniao and fenghuang i assigned my 1x and tela, so im thinking more broad for him instead

I actually really, really like how this turned out. I used a different method for this one so I didn’t know how well it would go. Nice to see that I actually really really like it :D !!
