Shannon snuck in behind her with a grin, arms grabbing her as he exclaimed "What the hell do you think you're doing?!"
"No not really. I just like the song." She played with his fingers a little. "It's good."
Shannon smiled and wiggled his fingers around. "You're gonna be in it, right? I want you to be."
"If it makes you happy it can't be that baaaad~" she sang quietly. She liked the idea a lot more than she would have several months ago.
He raised an eyebrow. "Is that how you really feel about it? Tell me the truth."
Meme: You know Baby would have a better life. Certainly a safer one, if you let her be adopted into a /normal/ family. A human one, where she can go to school and grow up into a productive member of society.
Baby is just fine where she is, asshole. Sure, her parents may not be human, but that doesn't make our home any less fitting for her. She has more protection here than a human family, because if anything even attempts to harm her they'll be torn to shreds. As for school and shit, she'll still go, and grow up just like every other little girl and boy her age. Her parents being a vampire has nothing to do with how her life will be. I'll raise her just like any other fucking person on this planet, fangs or no fangs. She'll be just fine.

She flailed a little. "Hey! Quit!" She whined as she tried to tug the hood back up. "I know." She said, catching his left hand in hers.
Shannon used his other hand to tug the hood back down. "You quit!" he returned with a small chuckle, then it just faded into a smile as he looked at their hands. "How do you feel about it?"
She looked away, tugging her hood farther down over her eyes. "S'jus' doodles...."
Shannon furrowed his eyebrows and pulled it off. "Don't cover your face. They were cute doodles." he smiled. "We're getting married soon y'know."
