[Just thinking about what Eilidh needs in order to come back, and I kind of feel like needing Ames or missing her friends or wanting to be with her family at Christmas isn’t quite enough.

Like... I think what she needs is somebody to remind her of all the fight she’s got in her. Possibly someone like Jason??? She needs to feel like she can defend herself emotionally or she won’t feel safe to come back. And fighting with Jason brings out her self-righteous side and her pride but is also safe in a weird way, because of what they both have with Dom. idk. It’s late and I’m sleepy but I’m just really sad about my muse lately and I just want her to feel strong again :-/]

[Eilidh probably doesn't realize it but she really does add insult to injury with how she talks to Jason. Think on that ;P ]

[She knows she gets under his skin, but she really doesn’t understand why (even though she thinks she does). Which means that she’ll take advantage of that, be mean in ways that she knows will piss him off. She does try sometimes to hold back for Dom’s sake, but Jason says things that hurt her, and she likes being able to hurt him back. It makes her feel less vulnerable and weak, and it makes me incredibly sad, because she really doesn’t understand how hurt he already is.]

Why do Jason and Eilidh hate each other so much?

“Because the bastards have a habit of seeing only what they assume is fact in each other. Both have been thrown shit in their lives and that shit is keepin’ them from bein’ friends. They’d be bloody great friends if they’d only give each other a chance.”

Have you suggested working out your differences in other ways?

“Are you askin’ if I’ve offered to fuck him? I think that’s what you’re askin’ me.

I might have suggested it sarcastically once or twice–and god knows he could fuckin’ use the tension release–but I dinnae do hate fucks, and if he hates me for fuckin’ around, I dinnae think it would change anything, anyway.”

Will you and Corrigan ever get along?

“Who fuckin’ knows? We tolerate each other alright if we dinnae speak to each other–does that count?”

What do you think Dom sees in Corrigan? Obviously there is something you aren't seeing, right?

“The only good thing I can say about Corrigan is he’s loyal--as far as I can tell, he’d do a lot for Dom, go to the mat for him. Fuck, he pretended to actually fuckin’ like me when that wanker was all over me at the bar, and I know that was for Dom’s sake, not mine. That’s somethin’.

But fuck, that’s a lot of arsehole to put up with just for somebody havin’ your back. I dinnae know. If there’s more there, he hasnae shown it to me. I’d put my money on Dom just bein’ too nice for his own fuckin’ good.”
