Beric found himself sitting alone with Thoros, the only source of light being the small fire in the centre of where they had found themselves seated. Beric upon occasion found himself wishing for his final death, something that could not come yet, he still had work to do. Work to do in the brotherhood. 

He found himself staring into the fire, not speaking, not making a sound. After the silence had gone on for an unbearable time, he finally spoke to Thoros, his friend. “Six times. Six times I have died. A man is only meant to die once, Thoros. Each time is worse than the last.”
