The Okamoto Kitchen is a Japanese comfort food truck that has been operating in and around Los Angeles, CA since the summer of 2015. Spencer and I stumbled upon this truck as a result of an epic quest to find great fried chicken at the Granda Hills Food Truck meet up - and we were quickly rewarded. The aggressive graphics, glimmering leaderboard, and overall aura surrounding this food mobile grabbed us instantly, and we began filming shortly after. Astonishingly, we came to discover this maverick mobile was only a few weeks old and just beginning it's entry into the food truck realm.
