Elec tensed at Forte’s voice, a low growl rising from his throat as he pushed him back “Dont you dare.” He snarled.

Before them stood a human who had been shouting at Elec Man, but froze upon seeing Forte before becoming angry again. “"Oh, so you're just going to get defended by some other robot?!”

“"No,” Elec said, expression turning more somber as he glanced back at the human. “"I'm sorry about what happened. It doesn't make it better, but I'm sorry.”

“"Apologizing isn't going to change anything, you emotionless freak! Why are you still around here after what you did?! Why did you get off scot free while everyone else had to deal with what you did?!”

The robot..? Had to be a joke, because Forte didn’t strike him--for as briefly as they’d met previously--as the romantic type. “Don’t you have a robot boyfriend to spend the day with?”

No answer. Actually, that’s not true because after a worrying two seconds of silence it will be broken by a boot crashing into the door, popping it open to reveal a masked maniac. Yes, masked. Forte has apparently found a balaclava somewhere and cut some holes in it. At least he had the forethought to put the mask on under his helmet. “Hands up, this is a kidnapping!”

Sharp pauses in his work only a moment, staring off suspiciously into space and waiting for a reply. Then just as he’s about to shrug and get back to it--

“Jesus fu--” He leaps to his feet, chair clattering to the floor, and has his hand at his back under his poncho, wrapped around the grip of his blaster by the time-- “Forte!” With a slump in his shoulders, the hand on his weapon will move instead to his forehead in disbelief. “You-- haaah-- you look like you didn’t get finished. You know folks don’t put their hands up for a kidnapping, right? That’s a robbery.”
