Ever since my culinary internship at a hotel, I've had a love/hate relationship with fresh pineapple. I would have to cut up a case of pineapple that was part of the fruit assortment at the breakfast buffet. My hands had a really bad burning sensation like halfway into the case. I ended up wearing rubber gloves when cutting the pineapple. Tried precut pineapple, but it's nowhere near as good or fun with out getting to cut apart the pineapple. I tried cutting a pineapple, and my hands itched for the rest of afternoon. So I resigned myself to the fact that if I want to take apart a pineapple, I'm going to itch or would need rubber gloves. I used rubber gloves the last time I got a pineapple from Aldi. All that changed when BuzzFeed featured a pineapple corer in one of their articles. I showed my mom, and she got me one!!! Used it today, the pineapple was a smidgen over ripe, but the corer worked great!!! No more itchy hands!!! 😜🍍😜🍍😜#pineapple #nomoreitching
