Today is my first day of out patient rehabilitation. But first, let me tell you how I got here. Too often medications are prescribed instead of looking at or for the problem at hand. For 10 months straight I was prescribed over 400mg of morphine a day. At this point, my body is addicted and can not just stop--I medically can not go cold turkey. So here I am, one day at a time, battling yet another phalloplasty related piece of bullshit. I've learned bitching and moaning won't get me anywhere--I yet again, have to get myself to the other side.
