My sweet, grumpy, funny and loving baby boy, you are my absolute highlight of 2020. Becoming a mom while being so far away from our families in the middle of a pandemic has been an extremely challenging and scary experience. We have cried, cursed and cried some more, but we have also experienced incredible moments of joy, love and growth individually and as a couple. We have no control over what 2021 has in store for us all, but we can choose to focus our energy in what brings us joy. Even though 2020 taught us that life is hard, it also taught us that we can do hard things.
