Thoughts While Walking
Good day friends, I am back again with my new experience related to Walking. I managed to complete 7000+ steps after a long break. This walk will remembered for a long time as it gave me more clarity in of meaning of life.

I have bought this new pair of walking Luna Sandals which actually keeps motivating me to walk/run. Actually i never thought i will be able to run with Sandals. But that is also another mystery, will write the details soon. Coming back to thoughts/discussions which we had today.
The world will end because of one word – TARGET
I was walking with my friend the discussion started with the mysterious word named Target. In the last so many years of my life I have been constantly observing this word Target. I will quote my experience with examples to make you understand how ugly the situation is actually.
Seriously sometimes I feel Life is nothing as compared to achieving the target of most of us. I feel pity on such people. Target or the relative race was created to for actually evolvement of the mankind, what we call as Darwin theory, Survival of the fittest. The idea is to become each day better. Sadly we have become worst each day by day. Let me put you the real life experiences here.
You must be having so many instance where such things happen, would be great if you can share via email or as a comment. I would be really happy to hear it. I hope someday someone will read and take actions.
Hospitals have Target
I have been blessed so much that no one shall be, sadly I have visit so many hospitals and doctors for one reason or other. I hope no one shall be blessed with same.
Visit to hospitals, courts and Police shall be avoided whenever possible. On one such instances, I was shocked to hear the administrative staff conversations. Let me quote it. I was standing outside the room with them being unaware.
A: Tomorrow is 31st March what is the forecast?
B: Sir we might miss our targets as two doctors will be releasing 7 patients today.
Admin Staff A: Shit! Who told you this?
Admin Staff B: Sir I have just collected data from all of them!
A: Tell those 2 doctors do not allow the patients to go to home till 31st else we will miss target.
Staff B: Or Sir I am thinking of telling other doctors to get more admission’s, let them admit a patient for a day or two.
Admin Staff A: No that is bit risky, if it happens fine but let’s not allow patient to go home till tomorrow.
You can imagine what happens in these all big private hospitals. All they are running after is Targets right from Staff to Doctors to everyone. I have myself observed that in private hospitals life has no value only Money and Targets.
Schools/Colleges have Target
When I was supposed to get my child admitted in a school, you cannot imagine how many calls I used to get. I used to get 5+ calls from different schools to get my child admitted, giving me all the fake publicity of the school.
On one such occasion the other person on the call literally started giving me an emotional ride, sir please get your child admitted to this school. I was like why and all I got in return was sir I have my targets to achieve. This whole world can make things look great just for the sole reason of the word named target.
Companies have Target
Every bloody company has target that too unrealistic one. They will suck the blood out of their employees because of it. Employees used to be an asset long time back now are just another resource to achieve the target.
I still remember the famous Satyam story, where the CEO kept faking the figures in front of the whole world just to show his targets are achieved without even worrying about what will happen if he gets caught. The end result everyone knows.
In one of the company I worked for they used to classify people as poor performer just because they had a target to achieve. Imagine this rat race.
Learning for US
It is a high time where everyone shall stop this rat race. We should start thinking in a direction where value of life is more than these cheap temporary targets in life. Targets like being a better human being, serving the needy, cleaning the city etc. shall be kept rather the one which revolve around something which will end this world.
