YO just out of curiosity, do you/did you ever figure skate? Or are you just big into spectating? Btw I love your fs fandom blogging and want to follow your sideblog if/when you get that running \o/

NOPE. I never did fs good and proper. I did, however, spend my entire childhood watching fs on my grandmother’s lap as she sketched twirling (which I did do) costume designs using the fs outfits as loose inspiration. I was heavily into the fs fandom on livejournal. There are videos of me as a toddler pretending to be Michelle Kwan, sliding around the wet kitchen floor. I’ve been a huge fs fan for my whole life.

In fact, until last August, I had never been on a pair of ice skates.

There was a GISHWHES item that was “Do something you always wanted to do as a child” and instantly I was like CAN I PLEASE HAVE THIS ONE I WANT TO ICE SKATE IT MEANS SO MUCH TO ME PLEASE.

Unfortunately, I made a video but the item was a photo so I didn’t submit it (and instead Ali rocked the item so).

BUT HERE IS THE VIDEO I MADE!

I’ve never shared that with anyone outside of Team Rocket omg I am kinda embarrassed.

Story time! Julie's in a group message with me, and she sent the wolf pack op saying "that chick with the green hair is going to die happy" and I explained that she actually barely knows who Misha is and hasn't seen SPN at all. So our friend Meg goes "Why does she get to be in the front? Are they trying to get her to watch spn? If so, that's an effective way." i'm laugh

(background information - Paisley is the girl in the front. She is on Team Rocket. She has never seen a single episode of Supernatural and before this photo couldn’t have picked Misha out of a crowd for a million bucks. She came to vegascon to hang out with a good hunk of Team Rocket. She is your wildest dreams rolled into one human being, unless you’re on an opposing GISHWHES team. In that case, be scurrrrrred.)

so before the photo op, the creation employees had told us “you guys better hurry!!” which is ridiculous because we paid a ton of money for that photo but WHATEVER.

I am super paranoid and a big planner, right? so I made everyone line up in the order we were going to be in the photo (tallest people in back) and kept being like “BIG ARMS!! NOBODY LOOK CUTE WE ARE FIERCE!!!”and then I rehearsed what I was going to say to make it as SHORT AS POSSIBLE but get the point across well. all we had to do was file into place, I’d drop my speech, we’d snap the photo, and we’d literally run to catch a cab to see Cirque du Soleil (which we were nearly late for). EASY PEASY LEMON SQUEEZY, RIGHT?

Misha turns and looks at the first people in our group and smiles. We file in. Keep in mind, photos are normally two people max and we are a massive HORDE. Misha freaking JUMPS to Chris (the photographer) and stands back in horror. I begin to speak. “Misha, this is-” “THAT’S MY SWEATER!!!!! THAT IS… MY SWEATER!!!” he screams, standing still a good 10 feet away from us.

Then, he takes the time to look each and every one of us square in the eyes, as if he was memorizing our faces - the faces of his fucking enemies. This took a LONG TIME and was VERY DELIBERATE (he recognizes a good chunk of us by this point and he knows we GISH together, so I think he was mostly like “u fuckers”). 

I approach him and let the speech fly. “Misha, this is Paisley,” I state, grasping Paisley’s shoulder, “and you get to take a photo with her.”

He steps in and the photo is snapped. We file away, most of us AT LEAST jogging because WE GOTTA GET TO THE FUCKING CIRCUS, MAN.

Misha is still fucking baffled. When we exited the room, he was still yelling "BUT THAT IS MY SWEATER. YOU ALL HAVE MY SWEATER"

which is when somebody in our group responded “Yeah and we also have PLACES TO BE.”

and he was left in the center of the room, staring as we ran away.

when we got in the cab, Paisley said “ya know, he really grabbed me. it was weird.”

Okay but picture Dean and Cas meeting up again in a couple weeks, just to swap intel on the Metatron/Abaddon situations, but Cas is kind of quiet and subdued, enough that Dean finally says I'm sorry, okay, I'm sorry, just kind of blurts it out, loud, the words just hanging there, and when Cas doesn't say anything Dean continues, I know you're disappointed, and Cas sighs, in a way that's totally, totally human, and rubs the back of his neck, and says I'm not disappointed, I'm worried, and Dean immediately says don't, it's not worth it, almost like he's been waiting for it, and he starts to turn away, but Cas grabs his arm, right above the mark, squeezing a little, and then he kisses Dean, kisses him and kisses him and kisses him, one hand still over the Mark, and his other hand at the side of Dean's neck, and Dean starts to push him away, they have work to do, and Dean's probably going to hell again, and they're standing in the parking lot of a shit motel in Fuckall, Montana, but Cas just keeps kissing him and kissing him and kissing him, so he curls his hand in the front of Cas' coat instead.
