Got Questions?
Whether you want to know about the author (Moi), questions or theories on Steven Universe, or just ask questions on life because life doesn’t give enough answers for serious shit that not everyone can relate with, please, feel free to ask. :)
This guy is totally my hero of the week, talk about fighting the biased! Although the two kids in the video did have a point he isn't actually intimidating enough to be a superhero.
The Sacrifice
Oh dearie doooo, what i do for my friends goes way beyond the means. Sacrificing my emotions for the greater good, to avoid picking sides and to fuckin be once again, the non biased 3rd party.
Alright.
I have somehow managed to stay away from Tumblr allll night. Because, Spoilers!
BUT I SHALL GO WATCH DOCTOR WHO NOW. WHOOOOO.
Rant:
You know what I hate? People telling the #Occupy protesters from around the world, to stop complaining, to go back home or to go back to work, to just go and do what the cops ask when asked nicely, to basically stop what they are doing.
You may not like that these #Occupy protesters are protesting/are there for, BUT when we were younger we were told to stand up for what we believe in as long as it does not harm another person. That's what these people are doing. Standing up for what they believe in. [Yes, there are the few who have done damage or harm, but that is a small percentage compared to those who are there peacefully. And usually that small percentage is not part of the occupy movement.]
SO, when you have children, or nieces and nephews, or cousin, or family/friends, whom you always tell to stand up for what they believe in, no matter what. Are you also going to be the same people whom criticize them? The same people who say "Well the cop asked nicely", no you shouldn't be. Just because it's something you don't agree with or don't understand doesn't make it okay. They are standing up for what they believe in, taking a stand, some are even taking the brutality of the police, bystanders, etc...humbly.
Now, I'm not going to tell you where I stand on this, all I am stating is this, who the hell are we to criticize the #Occupy protesters for standing up for that they believe in.
We are better than that.
