Reid's mismatched socks seem to be a ritual that gives him comfort. Matthew may not have known this when pushing for this in Reid's costume but this ritual could be a part of ASD. Something familiar he picked up and has to continue doing for fear of change in his life. It could also lean more on obsessive compulsive which as I stated is often dual diognosed with ASD. You'll find many autistic people do have a certain ritual pertaining to their appearance causing discomfort if it's changed.

Reid often expresses discomfort at the idea of shaking hands with people, germs, however this seems to come and go and he has no problem accepting or even giving physical contact when it's with someone he loves and trusts or when in a high stress situation. Leading me to believe Reid actually has a mild touch aversion and is only comfortable with physical contact if he knows the person

In high stress situations, when one on one with a friend reid will blink rapidly and loose eye contact, eyes darting back and forth in front of him. The restraint of emotions causing him to become overwhelmed and no longer capable of meeting their eyes

Whenever delivering profiles Reid will often interject with a factoid about a similar murdur and will be gesturing wildly with his hands while the others stand with their arms slack or crossed. It was found in a study those who do this movement are aiding their memory recall, the movement making things easier to remember. They could also be a stress response, as well as the factoids about similar killers. When the attention is turned on him Reid will stress out and tend to overcompensate by trying to draw attention and be interesting ( possibly trying to fight the compulsion to shy away from attention and be quiet that he had as a kid, given how harsh Reid can be on himself when it comes to the idea he could be mentally ill )

Spencers usage of a revolver over a semi automatic like his co workers could be due to stimulation weather auditory or physical. there's either something he enjoys about the pistol or something he dislikes about the handguns

While a high IQ in my mind does not properly quantify intelligence ( a sentiment reid shares believing intelligence cannot be measured ) IQ points are a quantifiable thing Reid has a lot of and can be affected directly by his autism.
