There’s this super popular korean variety show called “Infinite Challenge” (most of you probably know it already) and they had a “history x hiphop” special a few months ago where they’d write and produce hiphop songs about korean history. I recommend all of you to watch those episodes.. they’re amazing. You learn so much about their history and it touched me a lot. I always think that if you know a country’s history and language you will understand their people better. The songs they produced and performed in the end were AMAZING. The lyrics are so so so well written, they deliver such a strong message and the songs themselves sound amazing. So I really really really recommend you to watch them and if you have already, I’d really love to talk about the lyrics lmao they touched me so much even as a non-korean.
