I am not a phone person. And I don’t always have the best follow through. So this petition may not actually get written.

But there’s no good reason not to call and ask very politely whether our state representatives believe that California Penal code 314.1 & 2 applies to unsolicited dick pics, and if not, would their office kindly consider writing a bill to update that section to explicitly include unwanted electronic communications of lewd materials.

Also, there might be something in the obscenity code, it’s a headache. I’m reading it now.
